The graph below gives information on wages of some country over a ten-year period. Write a report for a university tutor describing the information shown.

The line graph illustrates the growth rate in wages from
year 1993 to 2003. From 2% in 1993, the growth rate rose quite sharply to 4% a
year after. This followed by steady fall until it reached just a little below
3% halfway to 1997.
From this point on, the growth rate rocketed again, and
continued to do so until it reached its peak at approximately 6% in 1998.
However this does not last long, since it fell back to below 3% in just a year.
After a minor rise in the following year, the growth rate continued to level
down until it reached its lowest point at 1% in 2002. Afterward, it climbed up
steadily, reaching the point of 2% in 2003.
Overall, the graph shows there was quite a heavy fluctuation
in wage’s growth rate between 1993 and 2003. The starting and ending a point
remained the same, with major fall and rise in between.
